In recognition of the State of Texas naming La Salle County the official Wild Hog Capital, we’re celebrating with a theme that honors the spirit and legacy of our community.

The 1st La Salle County Fair was held in March of 1972. It is a community project of the Young Homemakers of Texas, Cotulla Chapter. The young women of this organization felt there was a need to have periodic competitive exhibitions for showing products that were produced by the youth and adults of our county.

From carnival rides and games to live music and entertainment, there's something for everyone at the La Salle County Fair & Wild Hog Cook-Off Fair. Don't miss out on our famous Wild Hog Cook-off cooking contest.

La Salle County Fair & Wild Hog Cook-Off Fair offers many contests for our students to participate in from Essay, Science Fair, Food Show & now a Public Speaking category.

You won't go hungry at the La Salle County Fair & Wild Hog Cook-Off Fair, with a wide variety of food options available from classic fair favorites like funnel cakes and corn dogs to local specialties like BBQ and fresh squeezed lemonade. Of Course we can't forget some shopping!
